Training days are a wonderful opportunity to work
your dog(s) with other Chapter members, solicit advise, observe training techniques,
etc. Mark your calendars and come out and join the fun! Maps and directions
to the various sites are provided below.
Training activities start at 8:00am and continue until everyone has had an opportunity to work their dog(s).
This year the Chapter will be trying
something new and using pigeons. Participants should just show up at the
training day (prior to 11am) and pay for their birds then. No advanced
reservations are required. Cost of the
pigeons will be published soon. To ensure everyone has an opportunity to
work their dogs, there will be a limit of five pigeons per dog. Anyone
wishing to work with quail, chukar, pheasants or ducks may bring their own birds
to the training days.
